Research Scholars In Dire Straits As Maulana Azad Fellowship Is Delayed

M. Phil and PhD research scholars from various universities in India are complaining about the delay of about nine months in the disbursal of the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF).

Students say they have approached both the Minority Affairs Ministry and the Union Grants Commission (UGC) about the delay.

But allege they have not received a satisfactory reply to their calls and letters.
