Nasir Kazmi Died

This day, 2 March 1972, marks the death anniversary of Syed Nasir Raza Kazmi an Urdu poet, journalist and writer. An editor at Radio Pakistan, considered to be the founder of the modern ghazal form he wrote extensively on the sufferings of partition and has a postage stamp issued in his honour by Pakistan.
