Islamic Scholar Al-Tabari Died

This day marks the death anniversary of Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari, an influential scholar, historian, polymath and commentator of the Qu’an. He wrote on subjects such as world history, poetry, lexicography, grammar, ethics, mathematics, medicine and is best known for his books, Tafsir al-Tabari and History of the Prophets and Kings.
