On This Day In Muslim History: February 14

Babur Was Born

On this day, on 14 February 1483, Zahir ud-Din Muhammad Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire and its first Emperor was born. Considered as one of the finest emperors of India and a man of valour, he defeated both the Lodi and Rajputana dynasties to forge the Mughal empire which reigned for 300 years.
