RSS Leader Advocates Voluntary Transfer Of Disputed Religious Sites To Hindus

Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar has suggested that Muslims and followers of other religions should voluntarily hand over all disputed religious sites to the Hindu community. As a national executive member of the RSS and the patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, Kumar argued that this move would help resolve historical conflicts, emphasizing the demolition of temples belonging to ‘Sanatan’ followers by foreign invaders.

In an interview with PTI, Kumar referenced RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement, stating, “there is no need to find Shivling in every mosque,” as an effort to promote mutual understanding and eliminate conflicts within society. Kumar urged individuals from various religious backgrounds to unite and willingly transfer disputed religious places to the Hindu community.

Highlighting the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kumar expressed a sense of joy both in the country and globally. He declared the Ram Temple as a “national temple,” asserting that it is inclusive and meant for everyone. According to Kumar, the temple symbolizes unity and respect for all religions in India, making it aptly referred to as a “national temple.”

As discussions around religious sites and communal harmony continue, Kumar’s proposal adds a new dimension to the ongoing discourse on fostering understanding and unity among diverse religious communities.
