Popular Front Demands Judicial Investigation In Delhi Civil Defence Worker’s Alleged Rape And Murder Case

Members of Bhim Army and Aazad Samaj Party protesting, demanding justice for the victim.

Popular Front of India (PFI) has demanded a judicial inquiry in the case of the 21-year-old Delhi Civil Defence (DCD) employee who was abducted, allegedly raped and brutally murdered on 26th August in Sangam Vihar, Delhi.

Sabia (name changed) was abducted from her workplace on the evening of 26th and taken to Faridabad where she was allegedly raped and stabbed to death. The woman’s body was found with stabs on her mouth, her body was mutilated and her breasts cut off.

Expressing concern over the way the case has been handled, PFI Delhi President Parwez Ahmed said in a statement that the death of Sabia doesn’t seem like a simple rape and murder case, but alleged a deeper conspiracy that needs to be probed.

“The way Delhi Police is trying to deal with the case is questionable. The claims of the police are contradictory to the statements made by the family,” he said.

The police have claimed that a man named Nizamuddin, who has surrendered himself is behind the brutal rape and murder of the victim. Some media reports have also claimed that Nizamuddin was the husband of the victim, which the family has denied.

The PFI statement accused the police of diverting the case and demanded a judicial investigation to ensure justice to the victim and her family.

No any seriousness is found in Delhi Police, the repeated same crimes of Rapes is common. Even you are not safe in Defense.
Its a big shame on our security system.
