PFI Protests Assam Govt’s Eviction Drive, Demands To Stop And Rehabilitate Evicted People

Popular Front of India (PFI) on Tuesday staged a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar against the police killing of two people during a government eviction drive in Assam’s Darrang district last week.

PFI demanded an immediate stop to the eviction process and called for the rehabilitation of people who have been expelled from their homes.
