King Abdullah II of Jordan Was Born

On this day, on 30 January 1962, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein al-Hashimi, the king of Jordan was born. The 43rd generation direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, he is also the Custodian of the Muslim and Christian Holy Sites in Jerusalem, including the Al-Haram Al-Sharif, which contains Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
