Maulana Iftikhar-ul-Hasan Kandhlawi Was Born

On this day, on 10 January 1922, Indian Islamic scholar and preacher Maulana Iftikhar-ul-Hasan Kandhlawi was born. Maulana laid the foundation of the Eidgah of Kandhla in Uttar Pradesh in 1946. He was mourned by Muslims and non-Muslims alike and left behind a legacy of more than forty books and an Educational Trust in Kandhla.
