Muhammad Asad Died
This day, 20 February 1992, marks the death anniversary of Muhammad Asad, a journalist, writer, political theorist, diplomat and scholar, who authored The Message of the Qur’an which is considered one of the most influential translations of the Qur’an of the modern era. Asad is called the ‘bridge between the West and Islam’. He is well known for his best-selling autobiography, The Road to Mecca.
