Khargone Violence: “They Have Bulldozed Our Livelihood”

Amjad Khan (40) owned a bakery, which is now a heap of rubble.

The Khargone district administration demolished it alleging he had pelted stones on a Ram Navami procession and that his bakery was on an encroached land.

The demolition has caused them a loss of around 50 lakhs, claims his wife.

“They demolished our bakery without notice. They have destroyed our livelihood, and that of so many people who worked here” she says.
