Asaram: From Spiritual Guru to Rape Convict

Asaram Bapu, the spiritual guru to millions of Indians, was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment on Wednesday for raping a teenager in his ashram in 2013. Over the last 5 years since his arrest, his followers have threatened judges and victims’ families and even killed witnesses to save their beloved ‘Bapuji’.
