The Integrated Government Platform “Nusuk” successfully concluded its inaugural roadshow in the Republic of India, led by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfig AlRabiah. The event, attended by key representatives from Umrah partners and travel agents, aimed to address challenges and foster collaboration with Indian and Saudi travel entities. Emphasizing Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, the roadshow explored trade opportunities and incentivized the private sector to enhance the Umrah experience for pilgrims.
Featuring booths from Saudi service providers, the exhibition attracted over 1000 private sector representatives from India and Saudi Arabia. Nusuk’s services, ranging from visa facilitation to accommodations and flights, were showcased to enhance visits to Makkah, Madinah, and other Saudi destinations. The interactive platform also invited Indian consumers and trade entities to explore Saudi’s diverse travel market, promoting the Kingdom’s cultural heritage and inviting investments in its thriving tourism sector.
Fahd Hamidaddin, Managing Director of Nusuk and CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority, emphasized India’s significance as a vital market, with ambitious plans to welcome over 7.5 million Indian visitors by 2030. Nusuk aims to deepen ties with Indian trade partners to create tailored Umrah experiences and expand the distribution of Saudi’s travel offerings.
