Not a Single Rupee Spent on Development of Adopted Villages by Modi from MPLADS Funds

An RTI query has revealed that since 2014, PM Narendra Modi has not spent a single rupee from his Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds for carrying out development work in the four villages adopted by him under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY).

The opposition has accused him of “spending crores for self-publicity”, but zero for the development of his adopted villages.
