Railway department in Karnataka’s Kalaburgi district has decided to repaint the railway station wall from green to white after facing pressure from Hindu groups.
Earlier, the Hindu right wing groups had demand Kalaburgi railway station to be repainted. They claimed that the railway station resembles that of a Mosque since it also has a dome shaped central structure.

The railway authorities had recently painted the walls green. However, they are now repainting the green colour with white.
