Al-Sharifi recounted the harrowing experience, stating that an explosive barrel struck their home, leaving a deep hole. He expressed the anguish of being prevented from bidding farewell to his loved ones and the inability to provide them with a proper burial.

A video on social media depicted the aftermath of the blast, showing the destruction of the building and debris scattered on the street.
