During the meeting, he emphasized that the hijab ban represents a violation of fundamental rights and has a detrimental impact on the educational advancement of Muslim women. He also pointed out that the Congress party had previously pledged in their election manifesto to revoke the ban even before coming into power.

Furthermore, Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musaliyar urged the Chief Minister to reinstate the 4% reservation for Muslims, which had been revoked by the previous government. He stated that the denial of reservation for Muslims could have significant and far-reaching consequences.

The meeting was attended by several prominent figures, including Karnataka Minister for Minorities BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, political secretary Naseer Ahmed, Karnataka Waqf Board chairman Anwar Pasha, Syed Fazal Koyamma Thangal, Hussein Saqafi Chullikkad, B M Mumtaz Ali, and others.
