Noor Kids, the US-based Islamic children’s books company has announced a four-week online camp for young Muslims, which is aimed at inspiring and exposing them to the legacy of Islamic art. The Global Creative Camp for Muslim Kids is designed to help young Muslims build a lifelong love for their faith.
The camp includes interactive programs, guest speakers, and creativity challenges, all of which are tailored to children between the ages of 7 and 14. The interactive programs will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM CST, and will feature live classes and powerful stories that are sure to inspire students. The camp will also feature guest speakers such as Dawud Wharnsby, Boonaa Mohammed, Amal Kassir, and Amar Alshukry.
Creativity challenges will also be a major component of the camp, with students creating their own poems by the end of the camp. These poems will be compiled into a Poetry Book for families around the world to benefit from.
The Global Creative Camp for Muslim Kids is priced at $179, but through the help of sponsors, the camp is free of charge for families who enroll over the next 7 days. The goal of the camp is to bring together Muslim kids from around the world, and help them build a love for their faith.
“When I was young, learning about Islam wasn’t fun,” said Amin G. Aaser, the Executive Director, Noor Kids. “Through our Creative Camp for Kids, we will help kids fall in love with their faith.”
“Our goal is to expose young Muslims to world-changing poets such as Rumi and harness the creativity of our faith to build a life-long love for Islam,” Aaser said.
The Global Creative Camp for Muslim Kids is a partnership between Noor Kids and several organisations, including the Unity Productions Foundation (UPF), Islamic Relief USA, and Launchgood.
