Solidarity Youth Movement Kerala (SYMK) held a massive rally in Kochi, as part of a state-level conference. More than 10,000 delegates attended. “Civil Society has a responsibility to uncover and resist the propaganda of Hindutva. It is based on hatred and racism which deliberately planned by Islamophobic right-wing sector”, says the resolution passed by the conference.
“Sangh Parivar plays politics by treating Muslims as the ‘other’ and considers them as enemies. Even anti-fascist leaders, including the left front parties, also fail to understand the anti-Muslim elements of Hindutva propaganda. They blindly follow the cultural agenda cooked by fascist organizations. The entire nation must defeat and dismantle the politics of divide and rule,” said Dr Nahas Mala during the inaugural session of the conference.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind All India President, Syed Sadatullah Hussaini said that governments have a responsibility to ensure the pluralism and harmony among people of different beliefs, in his inaugural remarks. Fake news produced by fascist factories makes separations between different communities, he added.
Palestinian Ambassador Adnan Abul Haija was the chief guest of the public conference.

He also added that the survival of the community is one of the main agendas during the current days of hatred. The opportunity for healthy discussions and dialogues should expand, especially in a plural society to build more trust among the people. He requested people to unite against the Sangh Parivar forces, destroying the occasions for dialogues. In the presidential address, Solidarity State President Dr Nahas Mala said that it is time to change the agenda of the Muslim community during this Hindutva fascist era.
