Mangaluru-based Bearys Group has won the coveted “National Award for Excellence in Energy Management” three times in a row for its Bearys Global Research Triangle (BGRT), Whitefield, Bangalore.
The company was declared the ‘National Energy Leader’ and was also commended and awarded for the ‘Most useful Presentation’ at the award ceremony held in New Delhi on Wednesday, September 21. Group Executive Director Mazhar Beary received the awards from Ashok Kumar, Director, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Union Ministry of Power at the ceremony.
As the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum research and development park in India, BGRT is regarded by academia and industry alike as the pinnacle of sustainable development and a model project. Streams of students from all over India, architects, consultants, and colleague developers visit the project to witness, learn about, and comprehend sustainable development and its numerous advantages, according to the announcement, the company said in a release.
